Farrah Jamal Ladha appointed coordinator for the Global Alliance for Genomics and HealthOverview

Farrah Jamal Ladha is currently the Clinical Working Group Coordinator for the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health and Strategic Advisor at the Broad Institute. Prior to this, Ms. Ladha was a Deland Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, a one-year hospital administrative position. Ms. Ladha graduated with a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She also holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from American University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. Her previous work experience includes a position as the Business Manager for Perioperative Services at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland and consultant at BearingPoint, Inc. in McLean, Virginia.

The Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (Global Alliance) was formed to help accelerate the potential of genomic medicine to advance human health. It brings together over 220 leading institutions working in healthcare, research, disease advocacy, life science, and information technology. The partners in the Global Alliance are working together to create a common framework of harmonized approaches to enable the responsible, voluntary, and secure sharing of genomic and clinical data.
