
Museum to showcase the cultural and scientific contributions of Muslim civilizations to world heritage
August 18, 2014 – The Aga Khan Museum announced today that it will open its doors to the public as of September 18, 2014.
The Museum and Ismaili Centre constitute a major initiative by Mawlana Hazar Imam and are intended to play a critical role in fostering knowledge and understanding both within Muslim societies and between these societies and other cultures.
The Aga Khan Museum is dedicated to showcasing the artistic, intellectual and scientific contributions that Muslim civilizations have made to world heritage.
