  1. My wife downloaded this book a couple of days ago and we had a pretty good dinner last nite with recipes from it! She made the tandoori chicken and spicy potatoes – very delicious and easy. My boys really enjoyed the Indian cake, so different than the betty crocker she usually bakes! I will be ordering the hard copy of the book as it is nicer to have in the kitchen.

  2. When I got married last year, I was straight out of university and did not know a thing about cooking. A friend gave me Al Karim’s book as a wedding gift which turned out to be a blessing as I was able to satisfy my husband’s desire for Indian food with flair and a lot of ease. I tried the biriyani, simple and delicious then also baked the cardamom biscuits which my mother reminisced about the ‘Mombasa biscuits’ she had as a child! Some of his recipes are amazing fusioned with traditional ideas. I really like the book as it is not like so many others out there. In fact, I always thought Indian food was hard and too detailed to make but not so.
