Karim Premji appointed Justice of the Peace for the Toronto Region in the Ontario Court of Justice

The province has appointed 10 new justices of the peace to the Ontario Court of Justice effective October 13, 2010.

Justice of the Peace Karim Premji has spent the last 11 years working in the private sector as manager of Internet Business Development for Allstate Canada Group. Prior to that, he worked for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as a senior rate analyst. Justice of the Peace Premji has been a Toastmaster, serving as a district officer, club president and area governor. A long-time active volunteer in the Shia Ismaili Muslim community in the Greater Toronto Area, he also served on the international committee of the Heritage Discovery Program during the Golden Jubilee of his Highness, the Aga Khan. Justice of the Peace Premji has also volunteered his time and talents with Toronto Youth Games. Associate Chief Justice/Coordinator of Justices of the Peace John A. Payne has assigned Justice of the Peace Premji to the Toronto region.
