OTTAWA – Are they war victims or war criminals?
There is no clear answer as Canadian government authorities investigate hundreds of Sri Lankan refugees who arrived on a small, rusty cargo ship recently.
These asylum seekers have created a national hysteria.
There are some who are demanding Canada send these refugees where they came from.
Others are more generous and want Canada to welcome them.
This is a difficult question for the minority Tory government.
