  2. Congratulations Dr. Kassam. I just wanted to wish you much success and good fortune in your new post. I also wanted to thank you for granting me more time with my family. It has been over one year since you performed surgery on me, one that I am sure that you will remember, and I am a living testimony of your knowledge and skill but most of all your compassion for your fellow man. Thank you again.

  7. This man is truly a genius. We are so lucky to have him in Canada. The Ismali community should be very proud of one of their most accomplished sons. I know his brother Rahim personally in Scarborough. He told me about his famous brother this evening, they are both truly amazing guys! It just goes to show, you just never know who you will meet in life.

  8. I am from Canada, I had right Hemi-facial spasm for 15 years followed giving birth to my son. I had surgery in 1994 in London Ontario. It did not work, I was depressed for 6 years. Then I went to Pittsburgh and found Dr. Kassam. He told me I was his worst nightmare, I was a very difficult case. In March 2000 Dr.Kassam performed my surgery, I was cured !! I still rermember him holding my hand when I woke up and he said to me ” By the grace of God we got it ” I have told my story many times to others and they are amazed how I was cured. Thank you Dr. Kassam, I am spasm free to this day. I will never forget you . I was interviewed by the Toronto Star , and from that article I was able to help others go to Dr. Kassam and OHIP covered all of my surgery costs.
