A turn around point in my life.
I came to USA, in 1983, time went by very fast, hardships, Green card, etc, marriage, children, all this didn’t happen without a huge struggle, and time just seem too flew away.
It was 2006, I felt finally settled, and established in my field, business.
Stability is what I saw, my dreams, visions and hard work seem to have paid off, suddenly, I found myself, in a dilemma, where I just had to walk away from what I had work so hard for, cheated by business partners, unable to fight legal battle, cost and personal reasons, stopped me to go further in legal battle, even when I was TRUE.
I felt cheated, so given up in my life, I just didn’t feel like doing anything, I didn’t
Have the energy to start all over again, financially exhausted, mentally tormented, I moved to Houston Texas, in August 2006.
I looked at many options, nothing seemed to work. I was at home, constantly thinking what I should do; I also wanted to stay close to my children whom I had not given
Any time when they were little, it was my mother who raised them.
I went on to designing my line of Jewelry, clothing, importing and working with
Other skilled artisans, I created Zoë Collections, where I have put together
A classic designer collection Jewelry, accessories, Designer Wear, Watches etc.
In Feb 2007, I approached the Canadian Beauty Pageant, the Director
Was very helpful, and allowed me to sponsor the event.
Not only was our Jewelry, accessory line selected for 2007 but also for 2008 event. I would like to thank Mr. Denis Dasilva for all his help and support.
As a woman, trying to establish, in a very demanding field, has been a challenge.
I would like to thank God in the first place for giving me the courage, strength and helping me, my sisters, endless love, &; financial support, my mother for standing by me, never letting anything pull me down always encouraging me. My daughters Sarah & Zoë, always smiling and loving me endless, my husband who is my strength and biggest critic.
I am starting brand new, and I am very proud that I have God on my side, my Faith, principals with me.
Thank you all, I hope my story will inspire, others, at times CHANGE IS GOOD. And it’s ok to start all over again. Never give up!

If I recall correctly I think Hazar Imam had made a Farman in Congo in the 1960’s concerning the power of faith – that it can give an individual the strength/courage (himmat) to start all over again – navin sharuat, new start – even a 100 times if necessary.
Thank you for the story and all the best in your endeavours

“Struggle is Life” , so said Hazar Imam. This is a very typical story of many Ismailies everywhere, and specially in the west, where the struggle is little harder and more demanding. “It is the faith of your forfathers” which sustains you and give you inner courage to achieve something you desire for yourself, your family, your kith and kins, your community, your country and the humanity at large.
