Tahira Karim, of Calgary, and Sandra Murillo, of Lima, Peru have been putting a show together that features the work of 11 female artists from all over the world.
This show, “eNOugh”, looks at violence against women and the strength of women from the perspectives of 11 female artists from North and South America. This show through new perspectives, brings to light these issues and also sparks new ideas for change.
The show will be an international travelling show with the kick off in Calgary and then next year going to Lima, Peru, and then to Paris and Berlin in 2020.
In Calgary the show will run for 3 days. August 23, 24 and 25 at Art Point Gallery
The show tackles difficult subject matter. Parents with young children are advised to make sure they are prepared to have conversations with their children if they choose to bring their children to the exhibit.
