Narmin Ismail nominated for the Waterfront Awards 2018

Narmin’s passion lies in empowering young women from the developing world through education, which led her to establish The Spark of Hope Foundation in 2014. The Foundation provides needs-based scholarships to bright young women with strong leadership potential, so that these women can make a huge impact in their communities as tomorrow’s leaders. Her goal is to increase awareness about the need to fund education at the post-secondary level for marginalized young women internationally, create a long term sustainable funding platform to support the Foundation’s ambitious growth plans, and dramatically increase the number of students in the programs that the Foundation offers.
