Calgary philanthropist Jim Gray supports Naheed Nenshi for re-election

Jim Gray is a believer in education as the best way to combat the global ills of poverty, disease and radical fundamentalism. One of Gray’s favourite endeavours is working with the Awali Group, which focuses on education and teacher training in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. He helped kickstart an Aga Khan teacher training institute in East Africa a decade ago.
