Malik Z. Talib, Ismaili National Council for Canada’s president, shares his message on the national civic day of volunteering, when Ismaili Muslims throughout the country volunteered countless number of man hours in service of the country. The goal of the Ismaili Muslim community is to submit 1 million hours of volunteering services to the nation, marking Canada’s 150th anniversary celebrations, in hounour of 60 years of Imamat of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV and his world wide efforts towards poverty reduction and peace building.
