Professor Ali Asani at the Aga Khan Museum: Communing with the Divine: Islamic Mystical Traditions and the Arts

In this lecture, Ali Asani, Professor of Indo-Muslim Religion and Cultures and Director of the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Islamic Studies Program at Harvard University, uses his expertise to discuss historic and contemporary Shia and Sufi devotional traditions.

This lecture took place on June 26, 2016 in the Aga Khan Museum auditorium and is the fifth in a six-part lecture series titled “Islam and Muslims in the 21st Century.” The series features scholars and journalists who are leading thought-provoking conversations about Muslims and Islam today.
