Aliza Rana appointed ‘Venture for Canada’ Fellow

Aliza RanaAliza is a Vancouver-native who graduated as part of McGill University’s Class of 2015 with a double major in Chemistry and Economics.

At McGill, Aliza played Varsity Field Hockey and served as the Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board Representative while playing intramural ice hockey and soccer and hitting the slopes with the Ski and Snowboard Club. Aliza has interned in consulting and operations roles for profit and not-for-profit organizations and has worked within Canada and internationally.

After consulting for a not-for-profit start-up in Montreal, Aliza decided to pursue Venture for Canada in order to have the opportunity to drive impact from day one. In her free time, Aliza enjoys binge-watching Netflix, road tripping, and recovering from food comas.
