Dr. Shariq Khoja: Tech4Life Enterprises participated at Impact Angel AllianceImpact Angel Alliance (IAA) is an alliance of North American venture funds, angel groups, family offices, private foundations, and strategic funders working collectively to identify and co-invest into organizations to produce impact. IAA organized a round table of new companies and investor groups in Toronto ON. where Tech4Life Enterprises presented company’s future plans along with displaying the innovative solutions and point of care devices. Tech4Life was commended for its leadership in providing state of the art Telemedicine solutions, including MDConsults and eSteth, for the developing world.

Dr. Shariq Khoja is an innovator, researcher, and entrepreneur in the use of Technology for improving Health. He leads both research and commercial operations of Tech4Life Enterprises, which is a socially motivated organization with the mission to improve health of the population through Telemedicine and Point-of-care diagnostics.

Dr. Shariq’s past experience includes working as the Adviser on Evidence, Capacity and Policy at the mHealth Alliance, United Nations Foundation, and Director of the eHealth Resource Center for the Aga Khan Development Network in Nairobi, Kenya and Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Shariq Khoja got his medical degree from Aga Khan University, and M.Sc and PhD in Health Research and Global eHealth from University of Calgary, Canada. He has led eHealth initiatives in over 10 countries across Asia and Africa, along with leading the PAN Asian Collaboration for evidence-based e-Health Adoption and Application (PANACeA), a network funded by International Development Resource Center Canada for supporting collaborative research in several Asian countries. He has been the recipient of several awards, such as Rising Star in Global Health by Grand Challenges Canada, and Grand Challenges award for improving mental health in Northern Afghanistan. Dr. Shariq Khoja has written over 50 papers and book chapters, acquired 7 patents, and published tools for organizational readiness assessment, and evaluation of eHealth initiatives.
