Farid Aziz received the Canadian Aeronautics & Space Institute’s Alouette Award

Farid AzizFarid is a Systems Engineer at the Government of Canada’s Department of National Defense. He is also a member of the Department’s Sapphire team that recently won the Alouette Award presented by the Canadian Aeronautics & Space Institute (CASI). Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield is among the recipients of this prestigious award.

The Alouette is an award introduced to recognize an outstanding contribution to advancement in Canadian space technology, applications, science or engineering. It may be awarded to an individual, to a group, an organization or group of organizations, as appropriate to the nature of the contribution.
