Aga Khan Hospital Doctor top contender for CEO of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan

Dr. Ahsan Siddiqui is a medical doctor who has served in Aga Khan Hospital and currently working with a multinational pharmaceutical company Novartis.

AKU -Karachi1Islamabad – After a long wait of two years, finally the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has finalised two names for the appointment of a permanent CEO of the authority.

The ministry had advertised the post and received 40 applications.

The 15-member policy board of the authority, Friday approved the names to be sent to the prime minister for further endorsement to the selection for the appointment.

According to officials and independent health experts, both the candidates enjoy good reputation and have relevant experience.
