On Saturday, December 13, 2014 an exhibit, The Lost Dhow: A Discovery From the Maritime Silk Road that’s opens at the Aga Khan Museum. This is a North American premiere and the story of this exhibit opens like a Hollywood blockbuster. A boat is found at the bottom of the sea by a fisherman in Indonesia in 1998. The ship is ancient (around 1200 years old) and is full of treasures and artifacts and rarities from two civilizations, China and Islamic world.
