Valedictorian Alysia Harji wins Seneca Cup

The Seneca Cup is the College’s most prestigious award. In order to win it, a student must show excellence in academic achievement and demonstrate an active commitment to improve the quality of student life at the College. It is presented only when there is a candidate of suitable quality.

Valedictorian Alysia Harji wins Seneca CupAlysia is graduating from the Business Administration – Marketing advanced diploma program. Alysia has wanted a career in marketing since she was 14 years old. With the ultimate goal of going to university, she headed straight to Seneca after high school, because of the pathway opportunities with universities. In September, she will be starting a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing Management at Ryerson University. Although balancing motherhood and her education has not always been easy, Alysia was on the President’s Honour List every year. She also worked as a peer tutor and participated in the Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition where she won an award for encouraging and supporting her colleagues and competitors.
