Featured Student Leader: York University’s Iman Samji

Featured Student Leader: York University's Iman SamjiIman is a Fourth Year student at the Schulich School of Business. She placed first in the KPMG Ace the Case Regional Competition, and is about to embark on her full-time career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Iman Shares how the Schulich Charity Association (SCA) has contributed to her career development.

Why did you join the Schulich Charity Association?
While in high school, I was extensively involved in volunteering with the Heart & Stroke Foundation, York Central Hospital, and tutoring services, and I wanted to continue volunteering as I entered university. SCA allowed me to hold a leadership role that influences others regarding the importance about giving back to their local community, fundraising for larger charity organizations, as well as exponsing me to career opporutnities with organizations that hold similar values. Additionally, holding a central role in the execution of SCA’s annual Fashion Show has also been a very rewarding and exciting experience throughout my time at Schulich.
