Happy Parade Day everyone! We hope you are enjoying the pancakes, the sun, the western wear, the country music and the mini donuts.

One thing we love about Stampede is that while it is something we share, it is something we all celebrate in our own way.

The Ismaili Muslim Community has hosted a Stampede breakfast for the past 17 years! They also have incredible floats every year in the Parade. This year, Stampede falls during the Holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims traditionally fast from dawn to dusk during this time.

For 2014, they have re-imagined their traditional breakfast as a “Break the Fast” sunset breakfast.
