Ontario is celebrating the commitment and outstanding contributions of the more than 11,000 volunteers at 55 Ontario Volunteer Service Award ceremonies across the province.
The Ontario Volunteer Service Awards recognize individual volunteers for continuous service to an organization. Certificates and trillium pins will be awarded for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 60 or more years of service. Youth will also be recognized for two or more years of volunteer service.
The first ceremony kicks off in Guelph on March 19 with the final ceremony being held in Kingston on June 26.
