Based in Seattle and Mumbai, the studio is led by Amin Gilani, who prior to initiating his own practice, worked for firms such as Perkins+Will, KMD Architects and Ankrom Moisson Architects. His interest range widely to include not only the History of Architecture, post colonial studies, critical urbanism and comparative literature particularly focusing on the cities of Indian Subcontinent, but seeks to explore the philosophy of nature and incorporate it to blur the boundary between the existential and man-made.
