Coastweek-September 4, 2013 – The Lion Ladies of Lions Club of Mombasa Bahari, Breast Cancer Awareness Committee, held an awareness talk on 4th September 2013 at Rasul Akram Preschool, which is located amongst the Pungu community in Likoni area.
The activity was facilitated by the MECP of the Aga Khan Foundation, Mombasa and the talk was aimed at the ladies so that they in turn could disseminate the knowledge gained to their children and friends.
Thirty ladies attended. All were extremely attentive and interested in learning about breast cancer, the killer disease.
