First Aga Khan Academy in Europe.
In the lead up to the planned opening of 18 – 20 Aga Khan Academies (AKA) around Asia and Africa, media reports are sharing that Portugal will be the first country in Europe to have its own AKA.

Recall earlier events when AKA foundation stone ceremonies were performed for AKA in Maputo, Mozambique; Dar-es Salaam, Tanzania; Hyderabad, India; Kampala, Uganda; and Dhaka, Bangladesh.
On the heels of Mowlana Hazar Imam’s visit to south East Asia later this month, it is anticipated that His Highness the Aga Khan will be officiating the opening of AKA Hyderabad, India.
