The Ismaili Muslim Council for the Prairies will be back in the parade this year. Temina Lalani-Shariff, chairperson for communications and community relations for the Ismaili Muslim community, said the organization has entered a float in the parade for more than 25 years.

“We’re looking forward to getting everybody excited and enjoying some time as a community. I think we’ve been through a lot in the last couple of weeks with the floods, and this will be a real opportunity to come together and just have a little bit of fun,” she said.
