Why you should listen to her:
Fatima Bata is a 12 year old grade 7 student and young poet. In 2009, she was a recipient of a “Great Kid Award” from Premier Ed Stelmach and Janis Tarchuk, Minister of Alberta Children and Youth Services for showing leadership, generosity, compassion and a strong will to make a positive difference in the community. Fatima has written a few poems before, and is anxious to share some of her viewpoints with her audience.
