To support the efforts of the Agak Han Foundation USA in reducing global poverty, Clements High School Global Studies Academy (GSA) students took part in a recent Houston Partnership Walk in Hermann Square, recruiting a team of 180 students and parents.
The walk was held to raise awareness about global poverty and bridge Americans’ spirit of generosity by reaching out to uplift people living in extreme poverty. In addition to Houston, the walk took place in nine other major U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Birmingham, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Memphis, Orlando, San Antonio and San Francisco.
