Sometimes life can get you down and it can be tough to cheer up again. But there’s always a way to bring yourself to your happy place again!
1. Listen to music!
We all have the tendency to listen to music that makes us wallow in our sadness a little more. Contrary to what some people may think, listening to sad music won’t actually make you feel better; it’ll just make you feel worse about your life. For this very reason, listening to happy and upbeat music can make you feel much better about life. One of my favorite songs to listen to when I’m sad is “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates. Any song with an upbeat tempo is really appropriate, but The Smiths are not the best option.
2. Meditate.
Meditation is the act of emptying your mind of all thoughts.
