Singapore, 31 March 2012 — Continuing his visit to the Far East, Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived at Singapore’s Changi Airport yesterday evening, where he was received by Mr Lim Cheng Hoe, Chief of Protocol, Foreign Ministry officials, Members of the Ismaili Council for the Far East, and other Ismaili community leaders.
Later in the day, Mawlana Hazar Imam attended meetings with the President of Singapore, Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam as well as the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana.
Meanwhile, members of the Far East Jamat celebrated Mawlana Hazar Imam’s arrival and made preparations for his visit with the Jamat.
