27 October, 2011 – A Parliamentary delegation headed by the Kyrgyz Speaker of Parliament Ahmatbek Keldibekov will tour University of Central Asia (UCA) and other programmes of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) during a working trip to Naryn Oblast on 24 October 2011. Mrs Nurjehan Mawani, Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) Representative for Kyrgyz Republic is accompanying the delegation during the visit.
The delegation will tour the new building of UCA’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) equipped with workshops for Technical Vocational Education and Training, modern computer laboratories and a 7,476-volume library. For the past five years, the SPCE has developed more than 170 original textbooks to supplement its courses.
