History repeated itself Thursday as volunteers gathered on Naperville’s Riverwalk to get hands-on with the city’s iconic pathway.
The Riverwalk Commission and the Naperville Park District have been busy this summer with a project to replace the surface of the Riverwalk. Volunteers had the chance to drop by and lend a hand in the process. Thursday was the final day for the community effort.

Seven members of I Cerv Ismaili from Jamat Khana Naperville not only donated their time but coffee and doughnuts, too. “Part of our ethics is a mission to serve people. We want to help out beautifying Naperville because all of us use it,” Nizar Jiwani said.
