Golf Tournament Raises 225K in Dallas | Dallas - Fort Worth NewsDALLAS, TEXAS, June 6, 2011. The fifth annual PartnershipsInAction Golf Tournament set a fundraising record when golfers and sponsors contributed about $225,000 toward the fight to end global poverty. 140 golfers participated in the tournament held on June 6 at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.

PartnershipsInAction Golf is an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. (AKF USA) to raise awareness and funds that reduce hunger, disease, illiteracy and poverty in Africa and Asia. One hundred percent of donations and all net proceeds from the tournament go directly to projects supported by AKF USA; not a cent is spent on administration.
