Local participants in the upcoming World Partnership Walk hosted a silent auction fundraising evening May 10 at North Vancouver’s Holiday Inn Hotel. Vancouver will join cities across Canada at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 29 at Lumbermen’s Arch in Stanley Park for the 27th annual event intended to increase awareness and raise funds to help fight global poverty. An initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada, all funds raised go to international development programs.
