Tashmin Kanani, Charity Fraud Awareness Quiz Winner donates prize money to the Aga Khan Foundation Canada

TORONTO, March 17 /CNW/ – Capital One and CanadaHelps are pleased to announce that Tashmin Kanani is the weekly $1,000 winner of their national Charity Fraud Awareness Quiz. Tashmin chose the Aga Khan Foundation Canada, which is part of the Aga Khan Development Network.

“I was born and spent some of my childhood in Kenya, and on a recent visit to Africa, I saw firsthand the incredibly positive impacts that the projects of the Aga Khan Development Network are having on so many individuals,” said contest winner, Tashmin Kanani. “I chose the Aga Khan Foundation because of all the important work it does through its development initiatives in Africa and Asia in the areas of health, education, rural development and the strengthening of civil society.”

Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) is a non-profit international agency that supports social development programs in Asia and Africa.
