Nimira Lalani is the Research Associate working on a wide variety of research projects that the Wellesley Institute produces. Nimira has worked for over 12 years within the field of health promotion and public health as a university lecturer, health promoter, researcher, consultant and program evaluator in the UK and Canada. Her work and interests are diverse and are underpinned by a commitment to innovation and social justice. Nimira has an MSc in Community Health Sciences and a postgraduate qualification in teaching higher education. She brings strong experience of working directly with diverse and disadvantaged communities and is committed to ensuring that research reflects this pluralism and diversity.
