A group of Torontonians is gathering on Sunday to do something besides just talking the talk when it comes to assisting people in poverty across the globe.
This Sunday, 10,000 Torontonians will walk the walk for the 26th Annual World Partnership Walk to raise funds to help fight global poverty. One hundred per cent of funds raised go directly to international development programs. The World Partnership Walk, the largest and longest running of its kind, is an initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada.
This year, Toronto’s five-kilometre walk starts at Metro Hall at 11 a.m.
