Deira Printing Press wins awards at Dubai Print Award 2010
Deira Printing Press (DPP) has been presented with two accolades for its quality achievements in 2009 at the Dubai Print Award 2010 ceremony recently held at Grand Hyatt, Dubai. The event was organized under the patronage of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Managing Director of Deira Printing Press, Asim Pirmohamed, said, “We’re delighted to have our efforts recognized. Winning at the Dubai Print Award is an excellent achievement for our staff who is always striving to innovate and set new standards.”
Winning such awards, he said, aims to uplift the performance of print companies in delivering high quality print products and enhanced customer experience.
The Dubai Print Award now running in its fourth year recognizes the quality of print works. The participation was open to international entries from the wider GCC and Middle East wherein entries came from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan as well as India. The Dubai Print Award is the most prestigious accolade in the region recognizing the Print Industry.
Munir Pirmohamed, the Director of Operations, said, “This is an award for distinguished print performance. Awards such as these confirm that our Quality is in conformance to global print standards.”
