Shelina Kara has mastered the art of beauty and wellness through a career that spans over 25 years. Since she has always had a passion for the well being of others; holistic medicine was a natural evolution for her. As a result, Shelina combines her former skills acquired, with those in the alternative health field, to provide superior services as a practitioner of Homeopathic Medicine. She came to Homeopathy when her daughter was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). Her daughter did so well on the treatment; she introduced her family to it as well and eventually; this led Shelina to begin a new career in Homeopathy.
Shelina is a graduate of the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine, Canada’s only Council on Homeopathic Education-accredited College. As part of her education at TSHM, Shelina received instruction in anatomy, physiology, pathology and physical examination, as well as instruction on Homeopathic Philosophy and an extensive study of the Materia Medica. TSHM is the oldest and one of the most exceptional schools of Homeopathy, in Canada. Her education, unique ability to communicate effectively with people and her outgoing personality, as well as her experience as a volunteer grant Shelina much success in this field with adults, seniors and children alike.
Recently she has been busy with partners in co-founding HHA -“Homeopathy, your Healing Alternative” – a network of elite homeopaths and other alternative health practitioners directory to further facilitate her patients in acquiring the best possible care available. At this time HHA will be lecturing and furthering the work of Homeopathy at the Total Health Show, found at booth 231 on March 12, 13, and 14, 2010.
