Yasmin Jetha appointed CIO of international healthcare company

Bupa has appointed Yasmin Jetha as its new chief information officer, with responsibility for the organisation’s global IT function. Jetha is currently the chief operating officer of the Financial Times where her responsibilities include global IT services. Prior to this, she was a board member of the Abbey National Bank, where she was responsible for a number of functions, including IT. In addition to her business life, Yasmin is vice chair of the University of Bedfordshire’s Governing Body, and also vice chair of the National Committee of the Aga Khan Foundation (UK), a nondenominational charitable organisation. She will take up her position at Bupa in October and will report to Ray King, Bupa’s chief executive.
