Project launched for reducing infant, maternal mortality rates in Sindh Pakistan

HYDERABAD: With an objective to bring down the infant and maternal mortality rates in Tando Allahyar, a public-private partnership project between the GAVI alliance, the Government of Pakistan and the Aga Khan Health Services Pakistan was launched at a local hotel.

Through this project, the Aga Khan Health Services-Pakistan aims to empower small civil society organisations and communities in Tando Allahyar district to play an effective role in demanding and supporting quality care, preventive health and health promotion outreach services,” said Dr Rashida Ahmed, chairperson of AKHS-P in her opening remarks.

  1. its good work to select Tando allahyar .its is much better to focus on rural areas and collect maternal mortality ratio and infant mortality rate before start of work.
