Aga Khan Primary School raises charity money with car wash

June 13 was a remarkable moment for the pupils of Aga Khan Primary School as they actively participated in community service car wash project in a bid to raise funds for the completion of a library block at St Noah Primary School in Nabinene, Wakiso district. Parents and well-wishers brought their cars to be washed at a fee of Shs5,000.

The chairperson of the Aga Khan Community Service Club, Ms Christine Kasaato says it is through such kind hearts that the club has been able to make a difference in the lives of St. Noah’s children.

“As Aga Khan, we feel obliged to always to help those in need and it’s the very reason we started this project. Pupils, teachers and support staff all volunteered to help in the activity,” adds Kasaato.
