May 12, 2008 – My experience at the Journey of Hope Seminar: Asad Rafi

On the 8th of May 2008 a seminar titled “Journey of Hope was held at the Agha Khan University auditorium. The seminar was held to mark the 50th Golden Jubilee of HH Agha Khan. The purpose of the seminar was to begin a journey of bringing about positive changes in the social attitudes towards persons with disabilities and pave the way for an equal and inclusive world. This initiative will lead to greater awareness and concrete actions to improve the opportunities towards people with disabilities in the educational, economic, social and cultural domains of their lives.
