DAMASCUS, (SANA)- Syria’s Grand Mufti Dr. Ahamd Badruddin Hassoun has underlined the importance of working to strengthen factors of awakening of the Arab nation and unifying its ranks to confront the challenges to which it is being exposed.
During a fast breaking banquet held Monday in honor of heads of the Arab and Islamic diplomatic missions accredited in Damascus and to the representative of Agha Khan network, Hassoun pointed out to the importance of the need to strengthen fraternal relations among ranks of Arab and Islamic nation.
For their part, heads of the Arab and Islamic diplomatic missions underscored Syria’s important role in defending Arab rights, standing by the brothers in Palestine and in Iraq and commitment to the national and pan-Arab firm principles.
