We caught a glimpse of the majestic, Victorian-style Old Cataract Hotel, built in the 19th century, where the famous mystery author wrote Death on the Nile, and the impressive Mausoleum of the Aga Khan perched on a hill. The imam of the Ismaeli Muslims was buried here in 1957.
