Prince Karim Aga Khan’s 70th birth anniversary
GILGIT: The 70th birth anniversary of Prince Karim Aga Khan was celebrated on Wednesday with traditional zeal and fervor throughout the Northern Areas (NAs). The day dawned with special prayers for integrity, solidarity and progress of the country. Later, celebrations began with a number of events, including a Bara Khana. Special functions were also held where religious scholars highlighted the importance of the day. They also shed light on Prince Karim Aga Khan’s uplift projects in the region with special reference to the Aga Khan Development Network.
